Hailing from Estonia's Hiiumaa Island, guitarist and producer Velle weaves a spellbinding tapestry of music, blending percussive fingerstyle mastery with a summery vibe and introspective lyrics. Inspired by the electronic textures of Bonobo and the soulful vocals of Bruno Major, Velle's music evokes a sense of wonder, similar to artists like Bon Iver and Tim Atlas.
Nurtured by a musical family, Velle discovered his passion early on. Fueled by a deep connection to the emotional core of music rather than traditional theory, his journey took an unconventional path. Despite his limited ability to read sheet music, Velle's dedication impressed the admissions committee at the Georg Ots Tallinn Music College, where he honed his skills in jazz guitar and music production. After graduation, Velle built his intimate recording studio and collaborated with the band Minimal Wind. Currently, this multi-faceted artist works as a freelance filmmaker, music producer, recording engineer, and is putting the finishing touches on his highly anticipated debut EP.
