hi, i'm velle, a filmmaker and music producer.
i've always had this push-pull going on -
i can't let go one passion to focus on one the other.. so i do both - film and music.
MUSIC
i like blending fingerstyle guitar, pop and r&b.
i started playing guitar when i was 10,
drawing inspiration from artists like Bonobo, Bruno Major, Jon Gomm, my dad..
over the years I've played guitar and bass in many bands
but recently i spend much more time in the studio than on the stage.
right now I'm producing music and mixing for several artists
and collaborating especially closely with artist elisabeth tiffany.
FILM
i filmed a 30 minute sci-fi short film when I was 18 and i tweaked it for 5 years.
i still didn't like it at the end
but the experience served as an invaluable hands-on film school for me.
i've always been into creating beautiful images that tell a great story
and now filmmaking has become my main job -
i produce a lot of music videos, edit and also develop audiovisual and streaming solutions.
but my favourite role on a set is being a gaffer.
